The user can add cover for Traffic Accidents, choosing from three formulas:
MONTHLY
Duration: 1 month
Cancellation: it is possible to cancel the monthly renewal, the policy will close at the end of the current month.
Renewal: Monthly renewal can be activated/deactivated at any time.
Payment: A minimum deposit premium of 1€ is required at the beginning of the period. At the end of the month, the insurance will be renewed (unless the automatic renewal is deactivated) and only a regularisation in case of negative credit will be required. At the beginning of each new period, a new minimum deposit premium (1€) will be taken. In case of unused credit (i.e. total trips less than 1€), the remaining credit will be available for the next month's trips.
RECHARGEABLE
Duration: 1 year, tacit renewal.
Cancellation:
- Within 14 days of subscription and without travel covered: Withdrawal
- Retroactive termination of cover;
- Reimbursement of premium, net of expenses and taxes.
2. After14 days from subscription, or if a trip was covered in the first 14 days: Cancellation
- Cover terminates immediately after cancellation;
- Reimbursement of the remaining unused premium (if any), less expenses and taxes.
- In the event of an accident during covered travel, claims are accepted.
Renewal
Renewal is tacit, which means that there is no need to click a button to activate it; it happens automatically:
- if the user still has credit on the expiry date, a new period of 1 year is added to the subscription. The remaining credit remains usable for the next period.
- If the user runs out of credit before the expiry date, the policy is terminated on expiry and is not renewed. The user may not add any additional package to an expired policy, but may purchase a Rechargeable (or any other formula) again.
Payment
The user can buy packages directly without any regularisation required. Should the user find himself with negative credit (e.g. if he runs out of credits during a journey), the credit will be subtracted at the next subscription. Otherwise, no regularisation will be required.
